Ground Up Cookery has been born out of a lifelong love of food and drink, from growing it and finding it to preserving it and cooking it.
Ground Up Cookery will initially focus on selling homemade artisan products created from foraged and seasonal ingredients. We use traditional preserving methods including fermention, infusion, pickling, drying and curing. We have plans to expand into other avenues in the near future, so join us and follow us on our journey. We are very passionate about working towards a zero-waste lifestyle. At Ground Up Cookery we believe that it may not be possible to be completely zero-waste but it is our responsibility to the world to do the very best we can within our means. To find out more about our zero waste ethos click here
We ask people to return their jars to Oinkers at Drakes Farm Shop (Higher Fingle Farm, EX6 6NP) in exchange for a 5p jar deposit. Where possible our packaging can be reused or recycled and even composted.
